Sisal

SISAL PIC

Sisal is a beautifully crafted fibre that is produced from the dense leaves of the Agave Sisalana plant, which are spiky bushes which only flourish in the sub-tropical climates of Africa and South America. Sisal yarn then travels to China to be created into the floorcoverings you see and read about here. So you really will bring a piece of the world into your home with a Sisal floorcovering. It is very hard wearing and with its anti-static qualities and low maintenance properties, it's great for almost any area of the home.

Coir

COIR PIC

Coir is made from extremely strong fibres found on the coconut husk which is found in the state of Kerala in Southern India. Coconut husk provides the short brown fibres for the tough yarn that is first soaked, then spun, and finally woven into an exciting range of flooring for a genuine "outdoors" feeling under your feet. Ideal for harder worked areas whilst enjoying the low maintenance, and rustic aesthetics of Coir, our Coconut Coir matting is a perfect way to protect floor coverings from unwanted dirt. They can be loose laid or fitted into an entrance matwell. With many colours available, there is something to suit every taste.

Seagrass

SEAGRASS PIC

Seagrass is found and grows in the dense tropical climates of China and Vietnam in its coastal meadows on the banks of its rivers. The plant itself bears small flowers and oval leaves with a "strap" like look. Much like Coir and Sisal, Seagrass is yet another great hard wearing choice for the home, and boasting all the attributes found in the above varieties of natural flooring available.
